A Warm and Welcoming Huf Haus for Every Season

In this recently completed Huf Haus project is a considered collaboration between architecture, interior design and intelligent technology. Designed for modern living, the home balances the clarity of Huf Haus’ glass-and-steel architecture with warmth, comfort and atmosphere, creating a space that feels both refined and welcoming throughout the year.

Working closely with interior designers Ad-Myra, interior styling was central to the brief. The aim was to soften the architectural structure with a calm, inviting aesthetic, where lighting, materials and furnishings work in harmony with the home’s distinctive form.

Thoughtful lighting design, carefully selected finishes and refined furnishings complement the architecture beautifully, supported by an integrated smart home system programmed with personalised scenes for different moments of the day and special occasions.

In the main living space, a custom-made media wall introduces depth and warmth through integrated shelf lighting. Speakers, lighting and window treatments are seamlessly connected to the home’s control system, allowing the atmosphere to transition effortlessly from daytime living to relaxed evenings.

An additional media room snug transforms the compact basement into an intimate retreat for shared experiences at home, designed for comfort, immersion and unwinding with family favourites.

Lighting has been carefully integrated into the Huf Haus beams, a detail that demands a deep understanding of the architectural system. As long-standing partners of Huf Haus, our team brings specialist knowledge of lighting design that enhances both form and function without compromising architectural integrity.

Outdoor living has been given equal consideration. Remote-controlled awnings provide shade on bright evenings and summer days, while discreet outdoor speakers extend music seamlessly from inside to out, creating the perfect backdrop for social gatherings.

External window treatments respond intelligently to live weather forecast updates and communicate with the home’s integrated climate control system, automatically adjusting to increase or reduce shading for comfort and energy efficiency.

Home entry and security are enhanced through gate entry, door entry systems, security sensors, a sophisticated alarm system and exterior house lighting. When programmed into the wider control system, 'mockupancy' scenes create the illusion of a lived-in home, activating lights, shades and screens throughout the day for added peace of mind.
